Me

As I said on the little side bar thing I am Jennah. Currently I am a stay at home mom, in order to keep my sanity I shop for craft supplies, add way too many pins on pintrest, and make crafts. I first started with sewing when I was about 6-7 years old. In my late teens my Grandma taught me how to knit, and together we created an arsenal of dish clothes, baby blankets, scarves.  I had attempted at that point to crochet, but I guess I was too fickle to have her teach me.  Over this time I  created many unique items which I had no outlet other than friends and the local coffee shops to sell. Not once did I ever imagine myself a stay at home mom with two kids sitting around (I don't really do much sitting) making crafts all day. I imagined that I would be some sort of magnificent social worker solving all of the worlds problems. Well after about 5 years in the field I realized that I dont like people nearly as much as I thought that I did.  The one thing that has not changed is that I love to create things. I find that on the weekend that the kids love to do projects with me, especially my son Aydan, though his intentions are to make money, not to create.

A funny story about Aydan. When we were living in Arizona  a few years back we helped my dad with his business (Magnetic Jewelry and wood roses) Aydan decided that he wanted to make his own money. Well around Christmas time I finally said what the hell and let him start making things.  The child sat diligently and made almost 100 foam Christmas tree ornaments, he sold them for 3 dollars a piece or 2 for 5$.  By the end of the craft show he had NONE remaining... I know how cute... Mommy's little entrepreneur.

I do have a blog about our weekend projects, you can find it here Weekend Projects! Please feel free to try these projects with your own hoard..
